"Do I have to wait?"

{

Do you remenber when you were a child and your mom and dad forced you to wait an hour before swimming because you had recently eaten?, well it's not uncommon that your mom or dad told you that, because they are overprotective, and they always say the things that they think that can save their child's life, and you can't blame them for loving or protecting you, something I consider you must to know is that any sport or activity that we practice after eating large amounts of food can cause us gastrointestinal discomfort, but in turn, if our body is suddenly immersed in cold water, the sudden change in temperature can produce a hydrocution Syndrome, popularly known as "cutting digestion", so your parent's were not wrong when they said  to you to be patient and wait at least an hour to go swimming.

We must be careful to eat at least one hour before starting to move and also the composition of the food must be careful, because a large supply of fat or protein can slow digestion by increasing the risk of gastrointestinal distress. Ideally, our food must to be based on carbohydrates, with moderate intake of fiber and try new foods just before exercise ourselves because the physical exertion of the body can hamper the digestive process. It is definitely not bad swim after eating if we take these precautions before and if the water is too cold, try to dive slowly and properly warm the body before beginning full with activity.

If you want to swim after eating you can't eat a large amount of food or you will suffer a cutting of your digestion. TAGS:undefined
